Missional Consulting exists to support small teams doing meaningful work. I come alongside mission-driven nonprofits, churches, and small businesses during seasons of growth, transition, or complexity, offering practical, strategic help where it's needed most.

Meet the Founder
Alicia Shedd is a people-first operations leader with over a decade of experience helping mission-driven organizations get clear, get healthy, and move forward with purpose. Her work spans nonprofits, churches, camps, and small businesses, where she has partnered with executive leaders, built systems from scratch, scaled programs, and developed teams that operate with integrity and clarity.

She founded Missional Consulting on a simple premise: the infrastructure of an organization either protects the mission or quietly undermines it. Getting it right matters. Her approach is embedded, practical, and direct. Distance doesn't change that. She works inside the day-to-day rhythm of your organization because that is where the real work happens.

Every engagement starts with listening. The Basecamp Assessment is a focused 2 to 4 week assessment of your current operations, team dynamics, and strategic alignment. You walk away with a clear picture of what's working, what's creating friction, and a practical roadmap for next steps, whether that includes a longer engagement with me or not.
Embedded Consulting
Strategic partnership for your next stage of growth.
Embedded consulting means I work alongside your team, like a part-time staff member, for a set period of time. Rather than dropping in for a quick fix, I get to know your day-to-day operations, help identify what's working (and what's not), and build systems that fit your team and goals.

Packing what you need without added weight. A good pack only carries what is necessary, and a good organization is no different. I believe in essential gear: the lightweight but sturdy systems that provide maximum support with minimum friction. I identify the strengths you already have and help build the specific structures needed so your team can keep moving forward without added weight.
